Club Nets Begin This Week
Hello to all amateurs who frequent the OVMRC-sponsored radio nets. Take note that the 3 club nets are starting up this week:

OVMRC Eyeball QSO and Picnic
This is the invite and sign-up for the OVMRC Eyeball QSO and Picnic with optional POTA activation and Foxhunt, to take place from 9.30 am to 2 pm on Saturday 26th August 2023 at Rockcliffe Park in Ottawa.

Silent Key, Gordon Grant VE3DY, Charter Member of the OVMRC
Gordon Grant VE3DY was a founding member of the OVMRC and became a Silent Key on May 18 at the grand old age of 104. He passed away peacefully at the home he designed and build in 1962. Gord became a ham at the age of 15 in 1934.

Bryan Rawlings VE3QN inducted into the Canadian Amateur Radio Hall of Fame (CARHOF), QCWA Century Club and OVMRC Life Membership
On Saturday April 15, 2023 there was a special in person event sponsored by the Ottawa Valley Mobile Radio Club; Ottawa Amateur Radio Club and, the National Capital Chapter (70) of the Quarter Century Wireless Association to honour the long-standing contributions to amateur radio of Bryan VE3QN.
