There are several hams in the National Capital Region who have joined the Ham Shack Hotline VoIP service. For those who aren't familiar with this, it's essentially a VoIP telephone service tailored and restricted to use by radio amateurs world-wide.

For the OVMRC POTA-in-the-Park event at Hogs back park (# VE-1596) local operators gathered in less than perfect weather to enjoy some good RF propagation. While Norm VE3LC activated the park, 6 operating positions were set up and 18 people participated.

Our History
It is October 7, 2023 and I am on my way to collect a "box" from Ken, VE3EKN, who ended up as the temporary custodian of paperwork that was removed from the Museum of Science and Technology station, VE3JW, when it closed in 2015.
