The Ottawa Valley Mobile Radio Club (OVMRC) will, again, host an entertaining and talent laden Christmas Variety Show at 2000 hrs. on Thursday, December 14th, 2000 in the auditorium of the National Museum of Science and Technology, 1867 St. Laurent Blvd., in Ottawa. All amateurs, their friends, wives and family are welcome to attend this free gala evening of music, song and merriment. The theme of this year's show will be music from some period between the roaring 20's and the nimble 90's. You are cordially invited to enjoy the entertainment in the comfort of the 260 upholstered seat theatre. And to add to the festive evening, Christmas refreshments will be served outside the auditorium immediately following the show.
Bring your family and friends and enjoy a very special evening. There is lots of room for everyone. For further information, or if you have a talent you would like to show off to a captive audience, please contact:
Ken Barry by e-mail: kennan@storm.ca
or by telephone (613) 746-4823
We are looking forward to your participation, any members of our club or other clubs, or relatives or friends that your know could entertain us. If you can play the piano, saxophone, drums, violin, accordion, guitar, flute, or any other musical instrument, regardless of your degree of talent, why not volunteer and entertain us this Christmas?
