The Ottawa Valley Mobile Radio Club Variety Show (OVMRC) will present an entertaining evening of musicians, singers, skits and much fun and laughter for your enjoyment. The show is free and open to all amateurs, their friends and family and will be held in the auditorium of the National Museum of Science and Technology, St. Laurent Blvd., Ottawa, Ontario.
Produced by members of the Amateur radio club and Directed by Ken Barry VE3KJB with help from many others, the variety show will feature a host of entertainers for your enjoyment. The lineup of stars includes: Garth Hampson, tenor singer, with his "Laughter in Song", Roger Norman, professional crooner with "Favourite Oldies", Graham Bennett and Larry Wilcox, two "amateurs" with their soon to be famous skit "Ham and Eggs". Following a short intermission, you will be entertained by Jenna Baggs, an amateur’s relative "Budding Star", Maurice-Andre Vigneault and Barb Penny on piano, with their "QSO Show", Garry Mennie a popular Celtic Musician, and finally the High Horizon’s Trio of singers with their selection of songs.
Christmas refreshments will be available immediately after the show, compliments of the OVMRC. You are invited to celebrate an evening designed especially for the holiday season!
